Anti-fur protestor Heather Mills McCartney is threatening to stalk actress Jennifer Lopez.
The wife of ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has targeted Ms Lopez because of the singer-actor’s
love of fur. Ms Lopez often attends movie premieres and awards shows wearing expensive fur coats.
She says she wants to be “educated” as to why she should not wear them. She has angered animal
rights activists for many years. They accuse her of making fur fashionable. She has made it an
attractive item for the young and wealthy to want to buy.

Ms McCartney’s latest stalking attempt ended painfully when she lost her prosthetic leg in a fight
with security guards at the New York offices of Ms Lopez’s fashion company. Ms McCartney
wanted to deliver a DVD to Ms Lopez, which contained a documentary of how animals were brutally
killed or skinned alive for their fur. Ms McCartney had to replace her artificial leg in a stairwell, as the
guards refused her entry to a restroom. She promised to continue her crusade against Ms Lopez, and
to “show up” at her home or “get a hold of her at her premieres”.

Jennifer Lopez is under fire from animal rights campaigners for deciding to wear fur and use it in her new fashion range.

The pop babe is being targeted by animal rights group PETA after being photographed wearing fur
coats on a string of occasions and incorporating the controversial pelts in her new clothing range, Sweetface.

In a message posted on the PETA website, charity Vice President Dan Matthews said: "The protest
comes on the heels of the debut of Lopez's fur-laden Sweetface fashion collection, which has been
panned by critics and animal rights activists alike.

"There is nothing remotely 'sweet' about the torture deaths of animals killed for fur."

Protesters launched their attack on the sexy star by staging a vocal protest outside Virgin Records
in New York where the singer was making a personal appearance signing copies of her new album, 'Rebirth'.

Hundreds of activists congregated outside the Times Square store to hand out copies of a controversial DVD
featuring the star alongside shocking footage of animals being skinned alive while holding banners bearing the
slogan "Jennifer Lopez: Fur Scum."

Campaign leader Matthews added: "Jennifer Lopez may be able to get the images of bloody, skinned foxes
still alive and breathing out of her head, but we doubt that all of her fans will."

The 32-year-old star, who is believed to be pregnant with her first child, is the latest in a long line of stars to
be targeted by the animal rights group over her fur wearing.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford was criticised last year after she signed up as the face of American fur company Blackglama, just 10 years after posing naked for the animal rights group.

Meanwhile, Mick Jagger's model daughter, Elizabeth, was last month slammed by the group for her decision
to wear a fox pelt for a fashion show.

Most people agree that wearing fur is wrong. Please don't support Jennifer Lopez or her bloody business.
Many hot designers, including Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Todd Oldham, Marc Bouwer,
and others have turned their backs on fur and created synthetic alternatives that are hip, humane, and easily
available and don't turn animals into fashion victims.

Write to J. Lo and tell her that promoting the violence of the fur industry is a low-down, dirty, rotten shame.
